 Is that text effect of yours hand-drawn or is there an effect you use? I'm trying to do that with a t-shirt for a club at school and I'm not quite sure how to get that sort of effect without hand-drawing it (so it looks more exact).

 dam Matt what else are you hiding in there. That's so cool that you have this logo under your belt. How did it feel that they picked your Designs for there team?
It's a technique involving duplicating the text layer, cutting it, and then using an inward stroke to create the "border"...
